Winning is SIHGA!
For the fourth time, the OÖ Nachrichten selected the country's digital pioneers. SIHGA convinced the jury with the "Monitorix" moisture monitoring system and won the coveted Digitalos Award in the "Digital Transformation" category.
The curtain rises for „Digitalos 2022”: On 6 October the newspaper “OÖNachrichten” awarded in cooperation with the bank “Sparkassa OÖ”, the Upper Austrian Government, the city of Linz, the tobacco factory Linz, the company “KPMG” and the insurance company “Wiener Städtische” the digital pioneer of the year in the Promenade Galleries in Linz. After three successful editions in the past years, again outstanding companies and personalities of the digital world were looked out for. Prices were awarded in four categories: digital start-up, digital personality, digital transformation and social commitment.
SIHGA, a company from Ohlsdorf with its focus on fixing materials in timber constructions, succeeded in the category digital transformation. SIHGA persuaded the jury with their humidity monitoring system “Monitorix” and won the treasured “Digitalos Award” in this category.
With „Monitorix“ SIHGA introduced an innovative monitoring system, which controls the humidity and water inlet in millwork. The measuring system can be integrated in new buildings as well as redevelopment projects. It monitors the moisture content in the roof, wall, and floor, and gives a notification in case of moisture inlet. Hence, if required action can be taken and costly damage avoided. Planning, assessment, and activation are completed by SIHGA, free of charge.
