This connector was developed to create timber or timber-concrete connections with maximum load-bearing capacity and precision, while minimizing installation times. The HobaFix^® Max set includes all the necessary components and screws, making installation even easier.

High load-bearing capacity for safe constructions

The connection of main and secondary beams is often exposed to extreme static forces. The HobaFix^® Max meets these requirements effortlessly. It is available in various sizes and is ETA-approved, which enables a wide range of applications. Even with complex multiple node connections, where several beams need to be attached to one support, the HobaFix^® Max ensures a reliable and secure construction.

Practical features for easy installation

A key feature of the HobaFix^® Max is the staggered arrangement of the fixing screws, which prevents screw collisions and therefore enables flexible installation. The thread-cutting locking screws ensure even load distribution and fix the position of the brackets in relation to each other, ensuring installation tolerances in the direction of insertion. Even length tolerances of the secondary beam of up to three millimetres can be compensated for. The connector remains stable under horizontal, vertical, tensile and moment loads with a load capacity of up to 81.73 kilonewtons.

The HobaFix^® Max is developed, patented and manufactured in Austria, which guarantees the highest quality and European standards. The consistent profile geometry across all connector heights optimizes the manufacturing process and saves time and material. The set contains all the necessary fastening and fixing screws as well as assembly instructions. In addition, SIHGA^® offers the HFML milling assembly jig to ensure precise installation on main and secondary beams.
