With LamellenFix, Sihga GmbH is now presenting a connector for the efficient installation of wooden façade louvers. It offers high tolerance and safety during installation. When developing the product, particular emphasis was placed on easy handling and constructive wood protection. The system is suitable for different substrates and can therefore be used flexibly.
Wooden façades are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also give buildings a natural atmosphere. With the LamellenFix, we present a revolutionary connector that takes the installation of wooden louvers on façades to a new level. Whether wood, steel or concrete - the LamellenFix enables simple and cost-efficient installation on almost any substrate.
SIMPLE AND SAFE INSTALLATION:
The LamellenFix® is the first connector that enables simple and secure installation of wooden louvers on various substructures. The knot connection, consisting of two identical parts, allows the slats to be pre-assembled at the factory without confusion. The ingenious coupling by means of a locking screw ensures that the slats mounted in series are evenly loaded. The LamellenFix® is mounted on the back of the façade slat and is therefore not visible from the front. The wooden slat is 20 millimetres away from the wall or substructure and appears to float.
MAXIMUM INSTALLATION TOLERANCE, MAXIMUM SERVICE LIFE:
Even with a layer difference of up to 8 mm in the longitudinal direction, the high installation tolerance of the LamellenFix enables a perfect connection. The geometry of the connector profile ensures effective water drainage, which supports the durability of the construction. Structural wood protection was always taken into account during development to ensure a long service life for the entire structure.
AUSTRIAN PRECISION FOR THE HIGHEST QUALITY
Developed, patented and manufactured in Austria, LamellenFix stands for the highest European quality and added value. The connector can withstand static loads in five directions - horizontally, vertically and in tension - with high tested static values. Manufactured from monitored and anodized aluminium, the LamellenFix offers durable, dimensionally stable quality and is rust-free. In addition, the connector can be dismantled and recycled, thus meeting the requirement for a deconstructable design.

All screws supplied are made of stainless steel and approved for use in NKL 3. The delivery includes SIHGAFIX® and installation instructions for time-saving, practical and precise installation.
The LamellenFix is the secure connector for architecturally and structurally demanding louvre façades. With just a few fixing points, it enables quick and easy installation and is particularly suitable for slat dimensions >60 x 180 mm.
