Terms and conditions for participation in the competition – Instagram/Facebook


Data protection notice The personal data of competition participants will not be stored by the organiser. The winners will be notified of their prize and asked to send their personal data (e.g. address) by personal message to "sihga.austria"/"sihga.gmbh". The personal data of the winners will only be used for the administration of the prize and will not be stored, processed or transferred for advertising purposes. The legal basis for data processing in the context of competitions is Art. 6 (1) b GDPR. Without this data, participation in the competition is not possible. 

Recipients/categories of recipients 

Data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the processing of the competition (e.g. sending the prize via a logistics company) or for the publication of the winners. We exclude any further transfer to third parties. nbsp;

Storage period 

After the end of the competition and announcement of the winners, the personal data of the participants will be deleted. In the case of non-cash prizes, the data of the winners will be stored for the duration of the statutory warranty claims in order to arrange for repair or replacement in the event of a defect.

This competition is organised by SIHGA GmbH | Gewerbepark Kleinreith 4 | 4694 Ohlsdorf bei Gmunden | Austria as the operator of the "sihga.austria" Facebook and "sihgagmbh" Instagram accounts ("Organiser"). Participation in the competition is only possible under the conditions listed here. By participating, the participant expressly accepts these conditions of participation. 

This competition is not affiliated with Facebook/Instagram (Meta) and is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by Facebook/Instagram (Meta). The organiser is the sole contact and responsible party.& nbsp;

Participation in the competition is free of charge, voluntary and not associated with any obligation to purchase. Only persons who have reached the age of 18 by the start of the competition on 3 September 2025 are eligible to participate. Participation on behalf of third parties is not permitted. Employees of Sihga GmbH are excluded from the prize draw.& nbsp;

Participation in the competition is subject to the participation criteria listed in the post. Posts/comments that violate Facebook/Instagram guidelines, Austrian law and/or copyright will be removed without notice upon discovery. The participant will then be excluded from the prize draw.& nbsp;

The prize is a Sihga package containing:      
  • 1x L-GoFix MS montagepack (5.0 x 70 AD 28 mm) incl. pencil and bit 
  • 1x GoFix MS II 5.0 x 70 mm montagepack incl. pencil and bit 
  • 1x L-GoFix MS 5.0 x 60 m montagepack black incl. pencil and bit 
  • 1x Handson T-shirt in size L 
  • 1x SIHGA Full-Bits Set bit holder

Prize draw 

The prize will be drawn after the end of the competition period in private and in accordance with the principle of random selection. The winner will be notified by the organiser via private message. Winners must send their contact and address details via private message to the "sihga.austria" Facebook account/"sihgagmbh" Instagram account within one day (of notification of winning). The winner is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data they submit. There is no obligation to accept the prize. If winners do not confirm acceptance of the prize within the above-mentioned period, their claim to the prize shall expire without replacement and a replacement winner shall be determined using the same procedure. Cash payment, payment in other material assets or exchange of the prize is not possible. Prizes are not transferable to third parties. nbsp;

Miscellaneous 

The organiser is generally not liable for the accuracy and completeness of all information and reserves the right to cancel or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons. The organiser shall make use of this option in particular if, for technical or other reasons, the proper execution of the competition cannot be guaranteed. The participant shall have no right to compensation, damages or other claims against the organiser. 

The prizes mentioned will be awarded once. Legal recourse and cash redemption are excluded. In the event of a violation of these conditions of participation, Sihga GmbH reserves the right to exclude persons from the competition with immediate effect. The closing date for entries is 03.09.2025 at 23:59. The prize draw will take place on 04.09.2025.  

In the event of disputes, Austrian law shall apply exclusively. The place of jurisdiction shall be the registered office of the organiser, insofar as this is legally permissible. If the participant does not have a general place of jurisdiction in Austria or moves their place of residence abroad after participating, the registered office of the organiser shall also be agreed as the place of jurisdiction.
