SIHGA Monitorix - Major Project in Prague

With "Timber Praha", UBM Development is developing the Czech Republic's first sustainable apartment buildings in timber construction. The 62 residential units are part of the "Arcus City" residential complex, a development with a total of 270 apartments, ten single-family houses and five shopping arcades in the fast-growing Stodulky district of Prague.

Produced by the Austrian company ELK, the wooden structure consists of solid CLT panels for the load-bearing interior walls and ceilings, while the exterior walls of the facade are of wood-frame construction. The 62 apartments range in size from 39 to 110 square meters. Timber Praha is aiming for BREEAM Excellent certification and an energy performance certificate of the most economical category A. Timber Praha is scheduled for completion at the end of 2024.
In this project, with our SIHGA Monitorix® moisture monitoring system, we play a central role in monitoring moisture conditions in order to detect potential damage at an early stage. Installed in the flat roof and wet rooms, our solution not only provides precise detection of moisture levels, but also the ability to set up user-defined alerts and alarms to quickly respond to abnormal moisture conditions to prevent water damage.
