INNOVATIVE POWER FROM OHLSDORF: A LOOK BEHIND THE SCENES AT SIHGA INSPIRES JW GMUNDEN

On January 25, 2024, the innovative company SIHGA, based in Ohlsdorf, opened its doors for an exclusive event organized by Junge Wirtschaft (JW) Gmunden. Numerous young entrepreneurs accepted the invitation and were given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the innovative and diverse world of SIHGA.

During the company presentation, DI Dr. Marc Simmer MBA not only introduced the history of the company, but also provided insights into the product range and explained the company's vision and successes.

SIHGA was founded in 2003 and specializes in problem solutions in timber construction. The company has a diverse product range of more than 1,000 products, of which an impressive 80% are in-house developments. The impressive number of 300 patents and patent applications protect the company's broad product range.

Not only the high level of innovation, but also the quality of the products is reflected in the extremely low complaint rate of just 1%. SIHGA is equally proud of the fact that 80% of its products are "Made in Austria". The constant further development and research as well as the continuous search for innovative solutions is illustrated by the impressive research quota of 10% of turnover.

After an entertaining presentation, the participants were given the opportunity to learn more about SIHGA's products. From intelligent timber connection systems to terrace fasteners and concrete anchors - the range of products presented deeply impressed the young entrepreneurs. The event was not only exciting, but also full of innovative power for the future. It once again highlighted the innovative companies in the district of Gmunden.
