fancy ENZI
SIHGA supported the project with stainless screws and the spacer KompeFix.
Shortly before the end of school, the presentation of the fancy ENZI took place. This is a practical project of the students from the Camillo Sitte Bautechnikum in Vienna (HTL). SIHGA supported the project with stainless screws and the spacer KompeFix.
The Enzi furniture has been a furnishing component of the courtyard in the MuseumsQuartier (MQ) in Vienna since 2002, a so-called courtyard furniture. It was designed by architects Anna Popelka and Georg Poduschka (PPAG architects).
The impetus to approach PPAG came from the desire to make the school and learning environment at the Camillo Sitte Bautechnikum more life-friendly. In conversation with a carpenter who teaches in the workshop, the idea of transferring the Enzis into wood matured.
The students were thus able to learn the wood connections according to the curriculum on a meaningful, beautiful piece of furniture, which is now available for use by the whole school. Many thanks to Prof. Matthias Doubek and Prof. Susanne Grad for the great project.
