350 m² Terrace with Panoramic Views
SIHGA Fastening Technology in Action at High Altitude
Surrounded by the impressive mountain scenery of South Tyrol, a spacious terrace covering approximately 350 m² was constructed at the Meraner Hütte. A project where there is more to admire than just the view: beneath the decking lies a carefully engineered structure designed for precision, stability, and durability.
Several perfectly coordinated SIHGA solutions were used for the project – from the substructure through to the fastening of the decking boards.

The result is a spacious terrace that blends harmoniously into the alpine surroundings of the Meraner Hütte. At an altitude of 1,937 metres, it provides visitors with a place to enjoy the impressive mountain panorama of the Sarntal Alps – while underneath, SIHGA system solutions ensure a stable and durable construction.
A project that demonstrates that even for large terrace areas and demanding conditions, well-engineered systems make all the difference.
