Connection reimagined
Precise. Detachable. Future-proof.
Modulix® is the innovative connection solution for the force-fit connection of timber frame or cross-laminated timber walls to concrete foundations or concrete bases. Developed for static requirements, maximum ease of installation and consistently recyclable construction.
Modulix® – Precise and detachable connections
Modulix® from SIHGA® offers an innovative solution for constructions in which timber frame or cross-laminated timber walls need to be securely connected to concrete foundations or concrete bases. The system was developed to enable centric load transfer along the wall axis with maximum precision while offering maximum flexibility on the construction site. Thanks to the pre-assembled design and integrated height adjustment, installation times can be significantly reduced.
High load-bearing capacity for secure wall connections
Wall-floor connections are subject to high static requirements and must reliably transfer forces into the substrate. Modulix® meets these requirements with a backlash-free, mechanically secured lock that requires only a 90° turn. The three-dimensional screw connection based on the proven IdeFix® principle enables the transfer of tensile and shear forces while providing additional cross-tension reinforcement of the timber. Even on narrow concrete bases, where classic angle connectors are difficult to use, Modulix® ensures a secure and durable connection.
Practical features for flexible installation
A key feature of Modulix® is the height-adjustable lower part with an adjustment range of 12 to 30 millimetres, which allows for the compensation of construction tolerances and uneven concrete surfaces. Height correction can even be carried out when the system is already installed and locked in place, offering maximum flexibility during installation. As no internal or external visible angles are required, the airtight layer remains uninterrupted and there is no need for additional taping.
A well-thought-out system – developed for the future
Modulix® is developed and manufactured in Austria and stands for the highest quality, precision and added value. The system is completely detachable and reusable, making it ideal for modular, temporary or dismantlable structures in line with the principles of circular building. In combination with matching accessories such as Orakelix® and drilling jigs, Modulix® can be seamlessly integrated into existing SIHGA® planning and execution systems.
Centric load transfer for maximum safety
Ideal for narrow concrete bases
45° screw connection for maximum forces
No visible angles
Detachable & reusable
Pre-assemblable for quick installation
90° locking mechanism – quick and play-free
Height adjustable 12–30 mm
Readjustable when installed and locked in place
The integrated adjustment mechanism allows height adjustment from 12 to 30 mm, ensuring precise compensation for uneven concrete surfaces.
The connection is locked by turning it 90° with the Modulix spanner. A control mark allows for easy visual inspection of the locking status.
Modulix® can be used on both timber frame walls and cross-laminated timber (CLT) walls.
Yes. The system is specially designed for applications where traditional angle connectors cannot be used and is ideal for narrow concrete bases from 12 cm wide.
Yes. Modulix® is completely detachable and reusable, making it particularly suitable for modular, temporary and recyclable construction.
Modulix® is compatible with common M12 bolt or adhesive anchor systems, such as the Fischer FAZ II Plu.
For foot thresholds, a width of 90 mm and a height of 57 mm are sufficient for partial unscrewing. Full unscrewing is possible from a width of 120 mm.
Yes, it is still possible to erect the walls even if the anchors deviate 2–3 mm from their target position.
