What is an ultrasound exam and why is it recommended?
Ultrasonic testing is an acoustic method that enables testing beyond the field of vision and is one of the non-destructive testing methods. A regular check of your SIHGA Pick gives you security and the certainty that your pick-up device will function without errors even after years.
How often does an ultrasonic test need to be performed?
We recommend having the test carried out once a year. At the same time, the required safety assessment according to the operating instructions is carried out for you.
Can I use my Pick for longer than the stipulated 20,000 load cycles after a test?
No, because the lifting cycles are limited by EN 13155: 2009 to 20,000 load changes.
